Here’s a tip from Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) on a sustainable way to use our water amid its current shortage in the world:
“Hi there, beautiful souls in the tender form of kids. I pray for your Blessed growing lives in GOD GRACE! In recent times, due to climate change and other LIFE-THREATENING occurrences/events, we have suffered the untold consequences of the killing karma – from innocent babies to defenseless animal-people. One of these urgent UNFORTUNATE events is the shortage of water, which you, Angels, need also to bear and adapt to. Myself included.
1. Wash clothes when it’s a full load.
2. Don’t shower or bathe too often, as little as possible. Use non-chemical baby wet towels instead, wipe with a watered damp towel after baby wet towels if you feel better, or use only a watered towel alternately in between. If you do this often, or when needed, your body is quite clean. Wipe the whole body from head to toes, hey!
3. Only when needed, wash your hair. Dry in the natural sun if you can.
4. Use rainwater if you have it. You can even filter it with earthen material to also have Blessing from the Earth for a better quality of water! At least for cooking and drinking.
5. To be safe, boil the water before drinking.
6. If you can, save the last clean rinse water after any use for floor mopping, plant watering, etc… Do I do the same? You bet!
Saving water is good anyway. Not just for your economy, but so that others can share this absolute lifesaving necessity. GOD Loves you, good kids. I love you too, always!”
