Relief Assistance for Earthquake-Affected Families in Southern Mindanao, Philippines

Dear Most Beloved Master and Supreme Master TV team, We would like to share a small relief initiative recently organized by Filipino Association members, together with a few video clips from the activity. We humbly apologize for the quality of the clips for the quality of the clips and hope they may still convey the love shared in this small initiative.

Following the powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Southern Mindanao on June 8, 2026, even several weeks after the disaster, many families were still facing financial hardship. While their homes had not sustained major damage, making them ineligible for government assistance, many had lost their livelihoods after their workplaces were damaged and closed. In response, Filipino disciples in the Philippines and abroad lovingly and gratefully pooled contributions to share GOD’s Love and Blessings with those experiencing difficulties. Through the help of the General Santos City People’s Council, we were able to identify about 62 households in need of assistance in Barangay Apopong, General Santos City. The relief packs prepared for the community included 10-kilogram sacks of rice, soya milk, sugar, coffee, biscuits, laundry and bath soaps, shampoo, cooking oil, and soy sauce, along with copies of Master’s book “Love Is The Only Solution” and flyers promoting the compassionate vegan lifestyle.

On June 26, we traveled to the community, where residents had already gathered. Prior to the distribution of the relief goods, an introduction to our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai was shared, along with information about the compassionate vegan lifestyle and the importance of love and kindness toward animal-people in helping reduce suffering in the world. Feeling grateful for Master’s Blessings and loving guidance throughout the process, we found that the available relief resources were sufficient to assist those in need in the community. The recipients joyfully and gratefully received the relief assistance and were touched by the Loving Care of our Most Beloved Supreme Master. Despite the hardships they had experienced, they felt encouraged that they had not been forgotten and were uplifted with renewed hope for brighter days ahead. Our hearts were warmed by their smiles, and we felt grateful for the opportunity to sow seeds of affinity with our Most Powerful Master within this small community. We pray that, through GOD’s Grace, our fellow countrymen may soon awaken to true spirituality and embrace the compassionate vegan lifestyle.
