If your healthy canine companion has a mild case of vomiting, don’t fret, you don’t need to rush them to the vet. Just stop feeding puppies and smaller dog-individuals for 4–6 hours and adult or bigger dog-folk for 12 hours to give their tummy a break and allow it to reset. Adding food into an upset stomach leads to irritation and makes them prone to vomiting more. You can leave water out for them to consume, but if they typically drink a lot at once, keep the water level low so they consume small quantities frequently instead.
