Hopefully you’ve been able to switch to using electric vehicles, but if you’re still driving a gasoline car, I have a handy tip for you. Avoid driving with less than a quarter tank of gas, if possible, since it can cause a number of issues. First, a low fuel level may not provide sufficient cooling for the electric pump located inside the fuel tank, and that can lead to early fuel pump failure. Additionally, driving with a low fuel level consistently can result in the fuel pump drawing in debris from the bottom of the tank, which can then enter into the “sock” filter in the tank. Over time, these particles can deteriorate the pump impeller, leading to low fuel pressure. Please note the fuel pump can still operate fine with low fuel occasionally, but not consistently. Prevent early fuel pump failure and save yourself from having a big repair bill by filling up your gas tank before it gets too low.
Now, a joke for your happy mood, it’s called, “Application Trouble.”
A prospective employee was filling out a job application when the manager looked over one of his answers.
“Have you ever been arrested?”
“No.”
“Why not?”
“I’ve yet to be caught.”
