(Master, I used to suffer terribly from heart disease and would faint all the time. Ever since receiving initiation from Master, I’ve completely recovered.) Completely recovered. (My husband also has a lot of faith. After I followed a [vegan] diet for a few months, all five of my children followed me, ate the same way, and all received initiation as well.) Yes. (The first time Master came to Phnom Penh, my mother received initiation as well.) I remember. (During those three months, Master, I had many inner experiences, and they were very good.) Good. (And during those three months, I saw… One day while I was lying down because I felt uncomfortable, I took Master’s photo and placed it like this. I said, “I feel so unwell… I think I might die, Master.” As soon as I said that, Master, there were flashes of light everywhere, like lightning – flash, flash, flash, flash… like that. I said, “Oh my GOD, [I thought] my face and eyebrows are all burned!”
I still remember it, and [at that time] I wasn’t asleep yet, Master. I took the photo and touched it to see if anything had happened to Master – I was afraid the photo itself might burst into flames. As soon as I said that, Master shrunk me down very tiny. I saw that Master was very tiny but very beautiful. Master was flying and led me along – whoosh, whoosh, like that. I said, “Master, my legs and feet are all broken.” I checked my legs and limbs again, and nothing was wrong with them. It was just tingling. Master led me to that place and showed me five Buddhas. Five Buddhas, but only a section of Them [were seen], Master.) What? (Just one side. I heard Master say, “These are your parents.” But I wondered why my parents looked completely dark. There was another person sitting next to them.) The Black-Skinned Buddha Patriarch, don’t you know?
(Yes, and the person sitting next to Them – Master said, “This is your adoptive mother.” Then Master led me along for quite a long time, and Master spoke with me a great deal. But I only remember one or two details; the rest of what we talked about, I can’t recall completely. Master set me down, and held me like this; I also held Master like this. Master set me down and said, “You are not allowed to go any farther. You must go back down… You have a talent for archery, for shooting arrows, or something like that.” That’s what Master said. Then Master set me down, and I suddenly jolted awake. When I startled awake, I lay there and said, “Oh my, Master led me to such a wonderful place – why didn’t Master take me away permanently?” Then I lay there…) Greedy. Poor, yet greedy.
(Lying there all sprawled out, I said, “Oh my, before Master only took me along for a little while, and now I’m lying here occupying a whole bed by myself.”) Not just a bed – half a cow(-person)’s worth! (I kept lying there, feeling regretful. I said, “Now I’m lying here on a whole bed like this, but when I think about it… now I have six children and a husband who even has a mistress.” Lying there, I kept thinking and thinking, and after a while I said, “If only Master had come back earlier, I wouldn’t have gotten married.”) Alright, I’ve heard that many times already, I’m tired of it. Every woman says the same thing. Before getting married, everyone says that. Then you look back – oh, you have two or three children already. No husband, yet you still have children to play with.
(My husband is very jealous of me, Master. Whenever I mention Master, he says, “Everyday it’s always “Master, Master.” Why don’t you take your children and go live with your Master then.” He drives me away all the time.) Is that so? Then go ahead and come over. Phnom Penh is a new economic zone. (I said, “If Master would accept me, then I would bring my children over here and stay for good.”) Come over, why not? If he drives you away, then leave and let him see. Tell him to sign the papers properly; Later on, when his wife becomes beautiful, and he wants you back, I won’t allow it.
(But I’ve had many inner experiences, Master. There is one experience; I was not asleep or dreaming, Master. I was sitting in meditation like this, and then I saw Master come and sit on a chair, then Master took off the crown – the one shown in the booklet, number 44, Master. Master took off the crown like this and placed it on the chair, and Master said, “Go call your children to come here.” Master said that, so I called my children to come over and told them to sit down. And there was also one of Master’s disciples following along, carrying one of Master’s tape recordings like this. I saw it very clearly, Master, and I wasn’t asleep – I was meditating, Master. Master said, “You are my younger sister,” three times like that. One day I was lying down and felt sad, Master; I was also a little… I cried and said, “Why am I suffering so much, Master?” Master said, “Don’t complain about suffering. In the past you were the youngest child, the youngest sibling, and you were very comfortable – what suffering are you talking about now?” Master said that in my ear; I heard it faintly, echoing like that… three times, Master, said just like that.)
Finished yet? (There are many more, Master – but I won’t say any more. I had these inner experiences for as long as three months, Master. But now I don’t see them anymore; only once in a long while do I experience it again. But ever since I came here and meditated, I don’t know why, I keep getting sudden shivers, Master.) Put on another layer of clothing. (It’s not that I’m cold, Master, it’s just that my spine keeps shivering for no reason.) And then what? (It happened several times like that.) And then what? (I don’t know why that happens.) It’s your own matter – if you don’t know, then who can tell you? (When I was having a dream.) You already said that. (A leech or something bit me… and people said it was attached underneath, I’m not sure exactly what they called it. I said, “I’m already Master’s disciple— so why do I still have that?” Thank You, Master.)
Alright, what else is there to keep talking about? Yesterday we already talked enough about inner experiences. (Respectfully, Master, I thank You for helping my family.) Alright then, for now… (Yes, this time Master arranged for my younger sibling in Âu Lạc [Vietnam] to come over there, Master. I sincerely thank You, Master.) It’s alright, these are small things. (I would like to ask Master to bless my child. I have a daughter who hasn’t begun practicing yet, Master. Previously I asked my husband. Last time, I asked Master to allow my husband to practice, and Master said “Yes,” then just one month later he got initiation, Master.) Yes.
(Then I asked for my daughter, and Master said to let it be naturally, but it’s been a long time, Master. I’ve been practicing for nearly six years now, and my husband for about five years, but she still won’t join, Master. She still hasn’t joined.) I already told you. (Let it be naturally.) Yes. (So I was thinking of asking Master.) Just let her be. (Yes.) She is a Buddha – why worry about her? So foolish. Do you think she is really your child? She is a Buddha descended unto the world. (Yes.) Everyone is a Buddha; let each person take care of themselves. Goodness – both her parents are already practicing, the house is full of books, tapes, everything, and she’s still like that. So what do you expect me to say? And you still don’t understand? (Thank You, Master.) I already told you to let her be naturally, yet you keep asking. Even if I say “Yes,” it would be the same. Alright – “Yes,” then. (Yes, thank You, Master.) OK.
But we can’t force anyone. Everyone is already a Buddha. It’s just that their paths of practice are different, understand? (Yes.) They each choose their own path of practice. Some choose a long path, some choose a short one, some choose an easy path, some choose a hard one. Buddhas, they are no longer afraid of suffering. (Yes.) And our bodies suffer because the mind is tied to the body, so whatever suffers, we feel it all. But actually, a Buddha doesn’t think about suffering or pleasure, when they come down, they just choose whatever they want. Whether they choose Heaven, or hell, whatever they choose, that’s their choice. My goodness, we have to respect Buddhas. We can’t force anyone. Why are you being so foolish? Don’t you understand anything at all? Do you understand what I am saying? (Yes.)
Everyone is a Buddha. Every being is a Buddha. They choose their own path to walk. My goodness, how could we dare tell a Buddha what to do? (Yes.) All we do is give guidance and gentle reminders. (Yes.) If a Buddha doesn’t want to return yet, then let them be. Later on [they will]. They have time. Sometimes people choose three or four more lifetimes. They’re not done yet. (Yes.) Just because they’re your child, doesn’t mean they are actually your child. (Yes.) My goodness, they’re all Buddhas, you know. Lady Bodhisattva.
Knowing that makes everything easier. Alright, it’s already 12 (AM) o’clock. Please go home and rest. (Yes.) Whatever you’re going to say, be brief. (Yes, respected Master. Three weeks before I left, after I bought my plane ticket, that day the car broke down, the windshield wiper. I came back two hours early to repair it. I had just gotten into the car and sat down. I reversed the car, and then it wouldn’t move anymore. I tried to get out, but I couldn’t, my back just buckled right away. I went inside to get the address to call a tow truck, but I couldn’t even walk. I tried to force myself to walk, but every little movement was extremely painful. So I said that I have to call the emergency room for surgery. But I had made a vow to come here and stay, and if I had gotten the surgery, I wouldn’t be able to make the trip. So I got out, called a tow truck, then tried to get down again and move over to the side of the road and sit there. I prayed for Master to bless and help me. So I sat there for about two hours by the roadside, and then I was able to walk. My spine felt extremely uncomfortable, I couldn’t move at all. But after sitting for about two hours, I prayed to Master so I could come here and stay and Master blessed me. Thank You, Master.) It’s such a small thing, why even bother talking about it.
OK. Everyone, please go home and sleep well. (Yes.) I still need to meet a few other people. Tong. (Yes. Over there.) Just now I said that children can come to see me. Have you made arrangements? Tong. (On the phone.) (Bring them all here.) Have they come? (Not yet. Not yet. After they’ve left, I’ll bring them here.) (After all these people have left, then they’ll come here, close to Master.) OK. You guys go home. (Yes.) I still have to meet someone else. (Tomorrow we’re going home.) Oh, really? (Yes, Master, I’m going home.) You don’t want to go back? (Master, please take care.) I’ll come back again later. (Yes. Travel home safely.) What? How can you translate? You understand Aulacese (Vietnamese) by now?
You’re going tomorrow? (Yes.) Yes. OK. Have a good journey home. (Thank You.) I’ll come back very soon to see some children. And the people behind, they can stay if they want, and the Aulacese (Vietnamese) can move. The foreigners can stay. Comrade, return to the Party. Go visit Uncle. Alright. Thank you, everyone. (Yes. Thank You, Master. Deep gratitude to Master.) You’re leaving at 5 (AM) o’clock? So if you’re heading out at 5, that means you have to go back and pack your luggage now, right? (Yes.) (Four o’clock.) Four o’clock. (Yes, 4:30 [AM].) Oh, my goodness, poor you. (Thank You, Master.) Leaving at 4 (o’clock) is already very nice. (Wishing Master good health.) Thank you. Leaving at 4 (o’clock) is actually better, I’m the one who is still stuck here.
Alright then. We’ll end here. (Yes. Sleep well, Master.) Thank you. (Yes. Thank You, Master.) These (vegan) candies and snacks are for everyone to share. Probably because yesterday I gave them to the people around here, those poor folks, so it’s all gone now. There’s only this much left. We’ll share it. (Yes.) OK. Âu Lạc (Vietnam), we share. (Yes.) Water [for] Âu Lạc (Vietnam) only. (Yes.) Water [for] the Aulacese (Vietnamese). Share it. Open it and share. (Yes. Thank You, Master. Sleep well, Master.) No, I still have work to do. No sleeping yet. Please go ahead and make some space for the children. (Yes.) Bring the (vegan) snacks out and share. (Yes. Thank You, Master. Bye Master. Bye Master. I love You. Bye. Love You. Thank You, Master.) I’m coming back soon.
