The Milwaukee Art Museum has a striking movable sunscreen shaped like the wings of a bird-person. It’s called the Burke Brise Soleil. Instead of using a fixed shade, the museum uses 72 steel fins that open and close above its glass-covered hall, shading the art and visitors from excessive sunlight.
