“‘Thanks Heaven for facilitating this transference of spiritual merit.’ Oh, because I just gave away 53 billion of zillions of millions of zillions of uncountable AXs. […] Don’t forget that it’s kind of very heavy and dense in our world here.” “I can only donate, and pray for, and meditate, and distribute energy from a higher level to uplift the general public of the planet, and all beings. […]”Today, humanity has become remarkably skilled at advancing technology and scientific knowledge. Yet an important question remains: Where is all of this leading us? To explore this, TWCF made a significant shift around 2020 to 2021, investing substantial resources into studying human well-being on a global scale. The Global Flourishing Study, co-directed by Dr. Byron Johnson of Baylor University and Dr. Tyler VanderWeele of Harvard, brings together research across disciplines – examining health, relationships, purpose, and resilience across diverse cultures. During his leadership, Dr. Andrew Serazin expanded the foundation’s work to over 200 projects across 45 countries, further strengthening its global impact.“You can’t make up what you’re seeing here: religious people doing better on every single item that makes up the flourishing index. Atheists don’t do well in the all the domains of flourishing.” Taken together, these findings suggest that spiritual well-being may play a meaningful role in overall life satisfaction – sometimes even more than material wealth. The global collaboration has helped accelerate consciousness research, introducing large-scale “adversarial collaboration” to rigorously test and compare leading theories of the mind.
