If you want translation, you must go back to your “paradise.” “No.” They prefer to see me in person. That’s it.
Originally, we could also see a lot of people here. But they put those paintings over there. Then it’s not possible. Forget it. In the future, I will definitely buy a very big place, the biggest one. (OK.) I know a place that can accommodate as many people as you want. (The Fifth World.) Otherwise, in here, no matter how much room we have, it’s never enough. (Yes.) Even if the place is very big, I would look very small sitting here. Looking at me from afar, I’ll become very small. In the future, you all have to bring binoculars. It would look awful if everyone did that. And doing this the whole evening would be really tiring. And you must do the (inner Heavenly) Sound meditation for two and a half hours, and also carry binoculars. You’d rather die. You can’t bear it. This Master really knows how to cause “troubles.” Our lives are troublesome enough. But ever since we started following Her, it’s even more “troublesome.” We are already exhausted from work, so we come to complain to Her, and She just says, “Meditate more.” Once we sit down to meditate, there goes two or three hours. And then people come and tell Her, “I’ve been meditating, but why am I not progressing.” She says, “Meditate for 15 hours.” Now, no one dares to complain to me. If you complain, I’ll say, “Sit for 10 years.”
You see why Bodhidharma went into retreat for nine years, or ten years? It’s all because He complained to His Master too much. Originally, He was told to meditate slowly, two and a half hours, and He said, “Wouldn’t it be too slow? When will I become a Buddha?” His Master said, “Alright, then you meditate more, for perhaps… 12 hours every day. It is also OK.” But He still said, “I don’t seem to be progressing.” His Master said, “Alright! You sit there and don’t get up again!” Because His Master had supernatural powers, after He said so, He was glued to the wall. Ten years later, His Master passed away, and His supernatural power vanished. Then He naturally detached from the wall.
You, be careful. It’s said that I also have some supernatural powers. If you keep complaining, you’ll be glued to the ceiling. Because we don’t have enough walls here for all of you to stick to. Does she have a stomachache? She laughed while holding her stomach. What does it mean? (Laughing.) Maybe she ate too much during the Lunar New Year. Just like me, eating too much vegan ham. It’s everywhere. I’m telling you. People will know, even if you eat secretly. I’ve just confessed. I said that I ate in secret. I eat only one meal a day. OK. From now on, keep the precepts strictly. Eat openly and honestly. Don’t behave like me. God will arrange for you to reveal it. If God doesn’t arrange it, people from the Celestial Clothes here will arrange it. When she makes clothes for you, she’ll especially make it smaller.
(Tears.) Yes? (Wiping tears.) Wiping tears. Of course. Being an enlightened Master is tough. It’s really “miserable” to be in a retreat with you. Every day I laugh like that. All my makeup is getting rubbed off. OK. I’m coming to the “main course.” Just now those were only “snacks,” “appetizers.” Oh! So hot. I’ll be “barbecued.” Alright. You know, when your clothes are tight, if it’s hot, it’ll become even tighter. The skin and everything else will expand. Swelling up. Then the water circulation will be very fast. The water will evaporate and produce steam. And then you’ll feel your clothes getting tighter and tighter.
Now, I’ll tell you this Chinese story. You’ll definitely tell me, “We’ve never heard about it.” It’s really a Chinese story. In the Warring States Period, Eastern Zhou in the Warring States Period. At that time, China… It’s like in the era of the Records of the Three Kingdoms. Heroes are made by their times. Or, great men are made by their times. So many different kinds of talented people emerged. There were “talents” and also “weirdos,” and also “no-talent people.” And also, people who have no wealth. Therefore, many of our stories came from that era. One of the stories is about a man named Qin Huan. Have you heard of him? (Yes. No.) He seemed to be the second Bian… It’s OK. I’m so disappointed. Usually, when I ask you, you always say “no.” It’s rare to hear you say that you have heard of him. (No.) Yes, you have. Some of you haven’t and some of you have. OK. Those who have heard of this story, forget it now. Because now I’m going to tell it. You shouldn’t remember anything. Otherwise, when I tell it again, it won’t be fun.
Qin Huan was a very good doctor, whom you all know. The people of that time called him Bian… (Bian Que.) The reincarnation of Bian Que. He was from Zheng State and had another name, Yueren. Xieren or Yue… Yueren, like Âu Lạc (Vietnam). The “Yue,” (Yes.) same as “Vietnam” (Âu Lạc), Âu Lạc (Vietnam). He was a very good Chinese medicine doctor at that time. However, he didn’t live in Zheng State. He went to Qi State; it seemed he worked there. Perhaps he ran a clinic there, practicing medicine and healing people. One day, a stranger, a distinguished guest, passed by and visited the doctor, asking for a place to stay for a while. It seemed he was a traveler with no place to stay, and not much money. Maybe he had “talent” but no “wealth.” There is a big difference between “talent” and “wealth.” And so, he stayed there for a while. The doctor was a very kind person and immediately let him stay. Besides, the guest had a dignified appearance, very… (Glorious appearance.) Appearance…? (Dignified.) Dignified appearance… Here it does not say “dignified.” Now, am I supposed to listen to you or to this book? Troublesome. It does not say “dignified appearance.” It says, he had an “extraordinary bearing!” (Looking extraordinary.) Extraordinary. Unlike any other. Looking extraordinary. You see, you often don’t… You do and say the wrong thing. Not everyone has a dignified appearance like me. You are used to that. Every day, you are used to seeing my dignified appearance. And so, when you see anyone else, you just put the “dignified” title on them. Don’t do that. “Dignified” belongs to me alone.
You should know that I’m the most humble person.
