New international award to recognize excellent vegan food businesses.
The world-recognized trademark V-Label, initiated by the European Vegetarian Union, has launched the International V-Label Awards this year. It is to honor companies providing positive changes through their innovative plant-based products.
There will be nine categories including Best Meat Substitute, Best Dairy Substitute, Sustainability, Positive Impact and more. Entries will be accepted until July 31, followed by a round of public voting as well as judging by a jury panel. The winners will then be announced in a virtual ceremony in November.
The winners and also the finalists will receive a special logo to commemorate their achievement. Furthermore, the awards aim to encourage more awareness and participation from other companies to join the benevolent plant-based sector.
